Byron Edgecomb joined the firm in November 2023 as a Claim Consultant. Byron’s multifaceted background in special investigations, fraud detection, negotiation, hospitality and project management makes him a well-rounded claims consultant at the firm, capable of handling various aspects of the claims process with a focus on integrity, efficiency and client satisfaction.

As a Claim Consultant, Byron specializes in investigating personal and commercial auto claims, leveraging 13 years of expertise in special investigations to ensure accuracy and detect potential fraud. With additional proficiency in check fraud investigations, he contributes to maintaining the integrity of the claims process. Byron also emphasizes customer satisfaction and applies project management skills to enhance overall efficiency.

Byron utilizes his strengths in contract negotiation and interpretation to navigate and manage complex contractual matters in his role as a Claim Consultant. His effective communication skills across all organizational levels, coupled with a strong work ethic, enable him to facilitate collaboration and successfully contribute to cross-departmental projects, improving workflow effectiveness in the claims process.

Prior to joining the firm, Byron served as a Commercial Account Executive at Consolidated Insurance + Risk Management. Previously, Byron worked as a Special Investigations Unit Manager at Agency Insurance Company of Maryland (AIC) and as a Claims Specialist at Progressive Insurance.
