Oswald Companies and RCM&D Create Unison Risk Advisors

Cleveland-based Oswald Companies and Baltimore-based RCM&D signed a definitive agreement to strategically merge, launching Unison Risk Advisors. This merger created a combined workforce of more than 650 employee-owners in 12 office locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.

Minority Growth Capital Investment from Peloton Capital Management

Unison announced a minority investment partnership with Peloton Capital Management, a private equity firm built on the principle that collaboration creates better outcomes. This long-term, growth-oriented partnership provided strategic capital to fuel Unison’s expansion and M&A activity while preserving its independent, employee-owned model.

NSI Insurance Group Joins Unison

Florida-based NSI Insurance Group became the third partner company, expanding Unison’s regional footprint into the Southeast and adding deep knowledge in commercial, personal, and private client insurance for Florida’s diverse business community. With the addition of NSI, Unison gained 151 employees and 10 offices.

Enders Insurance and Avondale Insurance Associates Join Unison

Enders Insurance, a Pennsylvania-based independent firm, joined as the fourth partner, deepening Union’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic. With the addition of Enders, Unison grew by 64 employees and 5 offices.

Avondale Insurance Associates became the fifth partner and the first company to join Unison’s non-retail division, supporting wholesale distribution for the property and general liability insurance industry. Avondale brought an additional 33 employees and 4 offices.

Unison Announces Promotions of National Practice Leaders

Unison announced the promotions of five national practice leaders for Design & Construction, Education, Healthcare, Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate. These appointments emphasize Unison’s commitment to client service and providing innovative, focused solutions.

Hatcher Insurance Joins Unison

Hatcher Insurance joined Unison, strengthening our presence in Orlando, Florida and expanding our capabilities with decades of knowledge, strong client relationships, and a shared commitment. With this addition, Unison grew by 29 employees and one office.

Gibson Insurance Agency, Inc. Joins Unison

Gibson Insurance Agency, Inc. became the seventh partner, expanding our reach in the Midwest and West regions. With Gibson’s addition, Unison grew by 180 employees and 9 offices. This also marked Unison’s 26th transaction overall since 2020, further extending its national reach.

Unison Risk Solutions Launched

Unison announced the launch of Unison Risk Solutions, expanding its capabilities through claims, data and risk consulting, and third-party administration services to help clients better manage risk and drive informed decision-making.
