Tim Walsh | Unison Risk Advisors

Tim Walsh is the Design & Construction Practice Leader for Unison Risk Advisors. He leads a team of professionals dedicated solely to serving the needs of design professionals, contractors, owners and developers undertaking capital projects.

Tim’s experience in construction risk management and insurance spans more than 38 years, both as an underwriter for Travelers and holding various senior leadership positions at Aon. He has been a risk adviser on more than 500 construction projects with aggregate volume exceeding $50 billion and has been an adviser to numerous construction firms. He understands and manages risks arising from construction operations, risk allocation, project risk management and risk transfer. He has extensive experience in all phases of contract review, program design, marketing, implementation, project management and financial reporting.

Tim is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on the topic of construction risk and is the author of several published articles. He also serves as IRMI’s expert commentator on Wrap-Up insurance programs and was a technical contributor to the fifth edition of The Wrap-Up Guide, published by IRMI. He is also the recipient of IRMI’s prestigious Words of Wisdom award.
